A choral workshop aimed to improve diction, breath control, and vocal projection. More details to follow soon.
This workshop is open to all singers in and around Oxford who want to improve their singing voice.
The provisional programme is as follows:
13:45 – Arrive and collect music.
14:00 – Warm up and vocal exercises introduced.
14:15 – Workshop
15:20 – Break (including refreshments)
15:40 – Workshop
16:40 – Short break.
16:45 – Sing through all pieces.
17:00 – Finish.
Since 2013 we have held annual open workshops. These are an opportunity for both the choir and non-members to work in some depth on ensemble, listening skills and other aspects of musicianship. They normally take place on a Saturday afternoon and include refreshments and music hire.
